Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and determination to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) expert services through an engagement with all the agency's senior supervisors at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% on the registered pupils within the training sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
